hophead_hans (583), Bay Area, California, USA May 13, 2008 Tap. Pours with a hazy, dark yellow color. Not much of a head on this one. Aromas of fruit, mainly lemon and orange. Flavors exhibit some yeatsiness, but mainly tart citrus. A bit of alcoholic harshness in the finish.
beer_4_me (8), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada does not count Oct 3, 2008 Not a great Belgian style ale in my opinion. When I poured it, my hopes were up. It poured with a nice rocky white head on it. Sadly within seconds the head disappeared. Something not quite right there? Taste? A little too sweet and lacking in depth for me. I have always enjoyed beers from this first class brewery, but this one is not one i would buy again. Not quite as complex as a real Belgian brew either. mgermani (621), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 28, 2008 Pours a crystal clear gold with a minimal head with poor retention and a yeasty sweet aroma. Taste is typical Belgian blonde with quite a bit of apple cider going on. Moderate carbonation with a thin body. Nothing special here. SHANER4 (211), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Sep 27, 2008 Poured hazy golden color with alot of floaties and no head. Floral aroma and wheat malt flavor. Dry finish and also tasted cloves, not bad. D_malone102 (95), Denver, Colorado, USA Sep 25, 2008 I actually wasn’t a huge fan of pranQster, mainly because of the over-the-top estery flavor. The sweetness is a bit cloying, but it is very smooth with no bite at the end. Very profound caramel flavor. canary dog (393), Rutland, Vermont, USA Sep 18, 2008 Not my favorite style, but well-balanced and fresh-tasting, nonetheless. Very yeasty and fruity. Dryer finish than other whits, which is preferable with this style, IMO.
