12oz bottle. Poured cloudy and deep orange with a quickly dissipating white head. I caught oranges and yeast in the nose. Taste is a little unbalanced for me, with the normal belgian sweet/spice flavors subdued with too-punchy carbonation and a hint of sourness. I’ve had it on tap before and much preferred it then.

Dec 26, 2009 Hazy gold, thin white head. Aroma- honey, berry, yeast spice. Taste is mild caramel with a fruit juice feel. Has a bitter hop and roast malt finish.

Dec 26, 2009 This ale poured a cloudy, light orange colour with a short lived, bright white head. To the nose there are scents of very ripe fruit, vinegar, bread and citrus. First taste has a thick mouthfeel with medium to low carbonation. Flavours of rich malts, ripe fruit and leather. Finish is slightly hoppy with a little bitter note at the end. Raisin flavour lingers.

Dec 10, 2009 12 oz. bottle, pours a beautiful golden with a medium white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is sweet, citrus and yeast. Flavour follows suit - a well balanced Belgian ale, but lacking character.
