COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers' art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries. PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

On tap. Slightly hazy gold with a small white head. The aroma is mostly Belgian yeast, with some light spices. The flavor is similar, with a bit of banana and bubblegum. Nice crisp finish, very tasty.

This golden beer has a sweet floral aroma. It has a sweet but not overly sweet yeasty taste that reminds me of sweet bread. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: silky head, yellow hazed hue. Fruity nose. Very complex & subtle flavor. Crisp. Clean. Slightly sweet forward moves from silky do dry in a snap. Mellow finish with bitter undertones. A very nice beer. ~m --RaucusBacchus

A very nice golden. Pours an average slightly cloudy yellow. Smells like herbs, sage and coriander, with a little bit of booze as well, weird since it's only 7.5%. Taste is very refreshing, lots of lemon and citrus and a Belgian backing. Quite sweet as well. Had in the bottle. Good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy golden with little head that didn’t hang around long. No lacing to speak of. Aroma is typical of the style with yeast, wheat, banana and some spice. Taste follows the nose with a little lemon zest mixed in for good measure. Very similar to a hefeweizen. Medium bodied, smooth and crisp.

Gold pour with a medium lasting white head. Aroma is yeasty, grassy, fruity esters and pale malt. Flavour is nice banana fruit ester, biscuity malt. Fruity finish, though not overly sweet or boozy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle thanks to my brother! Pours a hazy golden yellow with thin ring of white lacy head that sticks in bubbles but falls down the glass. Aroma of strong Belgian yeast and associated fruity esters, and a hint of alcohol on the back end. Taste follows, banana and wheat esters. Interesting, bubbly tongue and not really an alcohol presence on the mouth considering the nose.

From a bottle at Jim Palmers in the district. Excellent brew, could easily become one of my favorites. Poured in a tall beer glass, almost no head or lacing. Cloudy light golden yellow. Wonderful smooth slight carmel malt, slightly fruity flavor. No hops or bitter after taste. My favorite style Belgian. Similar to GI Matilda, but lighter in color and body, easily allowing you to enjoy several. I think it should rate higher. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
