Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers’ art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries.

PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

12-oz bottle. I agree with "Nate" and have used some of the words in his description: "Great tripel aroma, sweet honey and citrus oil, candi sugar, Belgian yeast and bit of funk. Golden amber cloudy, with thin off-white head. Medium bodied with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts with grainy sweetness, candi sugar, funky yeasty chalk and light honey. Mild fruity hops and rind bitter in the finish. Sweet tripel aftertase. Nice alcohol warming." This beer is surprisingly refreshing for a tripel. The high carbonation and light texture make if very drinkable.

Draft at wendover beer festival. Cloudy golden color, classic Belgian golden ale, very nice balance of spiciness and alcohol.

Sample at WOBFest 2016. Pretty decent strong ale. Has the usual plum flavor followed by an alcohol burn.

Bottle. Very fruity, wioth notes of apricot, banana and peach, only light phenolic in the aroma. The flavour is more spicy, complemented with a honey note. Sweetish, light tartish, dry in the finish, with notes of overripe fruit. Excellent.

On tap at beerfest. Cloudy yellow with medium foam. Very bready/yeasty. Strong taste but not quite strong enough.

Poured from a bottle. Pours a cloudy dirty yellow amber with a medium head of white foam. Medium carbonation with plenty of lacing. Aroma is tart and bready, with light spices. Crisp, clean, refreshing taste. Light bready yeast with a hint of tart citrus. Body feels a little thin and watery. Flavor is not bold enough. Enjoyable but just a tad too light.
