Commercial Description:
Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

All-around solid ale. Very balanced with some floral hops peeking through at the finish. Smells a little zesty/citrus-y. Didn’t think it would be a particularly special beer, but you can’t always judge a beer by its label (kind of like books). Definitely going to try some more North Coast stuff.

From a 12 oz. bottle purchased locally. Aroma is caramel and pine. Color is a copper amber with a half inch tan head. Crystal clear. Malty and toasty but with bitterness to back it up. Some hop flavor in the finish with more pine and citrus. Medium bodied and dries in the finish. A great beer, one of my favorite Amber Ales.

Crushed with Jakebra. Thought it was a really hoppy amber at first. Very nice. Very hoppy, but balanced in there. Malt flavor gets a little stale but is no match to the hops. Excellent.
