Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

12oz bottle. Aroma has some hops with a certain spiciness. Appearance is copper with good head. Taste is hop froward with an almost fruity flavor at the end. Nicely done. Palate is spicy with the remainder of the hop flavor. Overall, a solid pale ale. I could drink it every day and not be mad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2014 Âmbar, média formação de espuma deixando uma fina camada perene. Aroma bem lupulado, citrico, terroso, pinho e malte caramelo. No sabor predomina o lúpulo, depois surgem as demais notas do aroma. Corpo leve, final seco, retrogosto amargo com suave dulçor. Ótima breja

Kopparfärgad med mellanstort ljusbrunt skum. Doftar humle och lite malt. Inte så smakrik men ganska god och lättdrucken med mycket kolsyra.

Nice sweet aroma, minimal white head, carbonated, dark orange amber colour, marmalade taste, quite satisfying, slick, refreshing and a lovely beer. Bottle at mouton rouge Canterbury.

I poured this into a pint glass. This is a live review and two bottles of this were consumed before this analysis. The appearance was a dark hazy amber to orange color that had a one finger white foamy head that died within about a minute. The lacing - wow - nice show as there’s a nice super thick clingy white foaminess that clung nicely even after several sips were taken. The smell had a decent amount of caramel malts that came across in a fairly roasty sort of way and then a decent spicy yet bitter hops delicately come into play as the beer warms. The taste is slightly spicy yet sweet but still allows a decent bitterness to tell me that this beer is no joke. The aftertaste has a long sweet caramel spicy flavoring, probably one of the best aftertastes I’ve ever had in any American Red Ale or APA (whatever style this one really is). The finishes bitter and has a nice kick on the tongue just as it leaves. On the palate, this one does a decent job of pummeling my tongue, but still does not overdo it. I say this one sits about a medium in body and still has a decent sessionable quality running about it. Overall, American Amber/Red Ale or American Pale Ale, I’m not exactly sure the intentions of North Coast on what they wanted to do for this, but hey, I would definitely have this again and would love to have it again with a peppercorn encrusted New York strip steak. Damn, and now I’m hungry.

Clear copper, big light beige head, some lacings. Aroma is hoppy with tropical hints, pine, zest, orange. Some soap and darker fruits in between. Taste is fairly hoppy, with tropical fruit resting on a fairly big malt ground, almost caramelish. Finishes somewhat bitter and some malts. Medium body, soft carbo, sticky texture. Well balanced.
