Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

I’d say this is a bit above a generic red ale. Had a lot more fresh hop flavours and nice malts. I’d drink it again!

(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, amber colour with a mid-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Fruity and slightly piney hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit, citrus and red berries, backed by caramelly malt. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Balanced and present cara-malty body, including slightly bready accents with drying fruity and delicately piney hops; rounded bitter-sweet hoppy and malty finish with caramel and hints of spruce in the aftertaste. Good. 28.I.15

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured amber, a bit hazy, off white tall head but it dissipated rather quickly; left some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, fruit and slight hints of hops. Taste is consistent, starts malty and sweet and ends in a bitter note. Easy to drink, not bad, quite enjoyable.

35.5cl bottle at the Tipping Point Brewing Company in Hong Kong. Pours a beautiful clear red amber colour with a medium sized thick white head. Aroma of pine, citrus and toasted marshmallow. Nice fruity and caramel taste with malt and pine in the backbone. Good balance of sweetness and bitterness. A nice pale ale.

Pours a nice reddish gold with a nice 1 finger off white head. Nice lacing. The taste is caramel and chocolate malt sweetness with citrus and flowery hops. The dance between the bitter hops and the sweet malts was interesting. Worth having again.

12 oz. bottle from Wibur’s. Appearance: finger slightly off-white head, copper color, clear, good lacing. Aroma: heavy floral and moderate citrus hops, caramel, light spent malt aroma. Palate: light medium body, average carbonation, sticky texture on the finish and also dry. Taste: sweet caramel maltiness dominates the front, slight metallic notes similar to a red ale as well, but not out of place, then into a citrus and floral hoppiness that grows and lingers, but is not really affronting. Overall, one of the better pale ales I think I have had in a long time, super good, though not the most drinkable. For style, a bit off, but as a beer, amazing.

Medium malty smell with a fresh hop presence. The taste is the same, medium malty with a balanced hop sensation.

12 oz bottle from Biggie Wine & Liquor. Copper and clear appearance with a large and sticky beige head. Hoppy aroma of pine, grass, citrus, floral notes, light herbs, a touch of hop resin and light malts (caramel, toffee). Flavor is spicy hops, moderate bitterness and light sweetness. Medium body with a crisp feel and a lingering, light dry finish. Pretty clean and easy to drink. A solid pale ale.
