COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

Orange amber with a creamsicle head. Citrus hop aroma with definite toffee notes. Grapefruit citrus, resin and sweet toffee malt are perfectly balanced on the palate. Excellent!

Copper to amber colored with nice head. A bit darker than most APA’s. Typical American styled pine woody hops aromas. Taste is pretty dominantly bitter. Rather solid body.

Tap at brewhaus Chattanooga - pours clear red with a white head, nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is hoppy, but in a generic way if that makes sense. Kinda a floral if I had to pick a descriptor. Taste is bitter with a sweet dry finish, which is unusual. Overall, solid!

12oz bottle pours a clear medium orange/copper color with white head and nice spider webs. got a nice full bodied aroma of hops. some grassy and a bit citrus...the flavor for this apa is awesome. very surprised and loving this one. a nice mild bitterness throughout that doesn’t really linger to long. nice apa.

nice dark orange color, some lacing. Apricot on the nose. Slightly juicy orange taste with little bits of hops on the end. Malt presence is strong but not unbalanced.

I have yet to taste this beer in different settings but I the settings I’ve tried so far makes me think that Red Seal is a good anytime-anywhere beer. The aroma could be better, I don’t find beer with spicy and peppery aroma especially good. The taste and "aftertaste" is almost perfect. Good amount of bitterness and nice balanced taste of alcohol.

4 oz draft sample at RFD DC. Cloudy copper with frothy white head. Malt and citrus hops in excellent balance.

Bottled. An amber beer with a small white head. Aroma is very malty with some citrusy hops. Taste is malty and quite hoppy, caramel notes. Very solid malt profile. Very pleasant

Dark Red, Quickly Dissipating Head, Lots Of Lacing. Smell reminds me of Whiskey Barrel Aged Ale - Whiskey. Tastes the same, plus hoppy bitter. While i like hops, I’m no fan of whiskey/alcohol aftertaste, so it was interesting to try it and taste it, it was not really pleasant.
