Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

Amber/golden, pale head. Citric yet sweetish aroma. Fresh and light. Somehow lacks flavor, only slight bitterness. Aromatic hops yes, proper maltyness not so much. Disappointing, sadly, after the nice aroma.

This beer is GREAT!! It is one of the best Red Ale’s I have ever had. Great with a light mild cigar.

This beer pours a beautiful amber color with some visible carbonation. Its head is just off white in color, tall and long lasting. The thick creamy head holds on well and makes nice lacing all the way down the glass. The aroma has some nice bready and fresh yeast notes with a good mix of herbal, earthy and lightly citrus like hop notes. Like the aroma its flavor has a well balanced mix of bready malt and tasty hops. Its medium bodied with a nice even level of carbonation.

Bottle at the Cambridge Blue. It pours clear amber with a decent white head. The nose is general fruitiness, doughy, banana bread and candied peel The taste is bitter, pine, light spice, resin, earth, bread, light alcohol and a touch of pithy lemon with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent enough.

Amber pour. Nose of soapy, skunky citrus hops and light caramel/toasted malt. Flavor is herbal pine and citrus bitterness and light caramel malt. Lingering citrus/pine hopping. Light body. Good amber pounder.

355 ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber, thick white head. Aromas of resin, light pine, caramel, light spice. Taste is more resinous bitterness. Not dissimilar to the IPA to be honest. OK, in an American kinda way.

12oz bottle. Aroma has some hops with a certain spiciness. Appearance is copper with good head. Taste is hop froward with an almost fruity flavor at the end. Nicely done. Palate is spicy with the remainder of the hop flavor. Overall, a solid pale ale. I could drink it every day and not be mad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
