Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Orange amber beer with a white head, lacing the glass. Aroma of sweet Carmel malt, floral hops and minerals, reminiscent of iron. Flavor is a lot like a pale ale but with a malty aftertaste. High carbonation with a medium body. Very drinkable and enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fantastic ale! Beats Sierra Nevadas Pale Ale. Rich taste, low on sweetness and fruit, good hops. Probaly the best ale I ever had.

Nice malty brew. Tasted at Kansas City Beerfest at Union Station October, 2015. I had so many that this rating might be a bit off. ;)

Bottle at home. Aroma of biscuity malt, caramel, piney resinous notes, fruits, earthy notes, hint of herbs, soft hops. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Slightly sticky mouthfeel. Pretty decent malty earthy APA, but nothing spectacular.

Rich aroma of malt and fruit. Already in the fragrance is no doubt this is a true American, it radiates namely real west coast pale ale with its fruity aroma hops blended malt. The foam is persistent and a little rough. Lovely rich flavor where the malt adds a delicate fruity sweetness which perfectly taken over by hops and bitter aftertaste. Perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness, long lasting and slightly spicy aftertaste. Lots of good American hops.
