2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Barreras (604) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Pours a golden yellow color with a clean water aroma. Taste is subtle sweet with a dry finish. An easy drinking beer that would quench a thirst on a hot day. Not very complex but very easy drinking.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Elwood (2490) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a clear light gold with a pillowy but short lived white head. The nose has a touch of grassy hops, malty sweetness, and grain. The flavor has a light sweetness with notes of strawberry and euro lager. That’s it. Light in body, this is a thirst quenching beer. I wouldn’t mind a touch more hops to add a little more character.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Lemke10 (538) - Janesville, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 23, 2013
This might not be everyone’s idea of the best beer, but to me this beer was superb. It has a strong inviting wheat smell and pours a golden yellow with a great head on it. It has a medium body feel that’s not too heavy or too light. It goes down well with a smooth delicious taste. Definetly a must try!
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 b3shine (2229) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 15, 2013
Draft to pint at Dutch’s. Looks solid; a transparent orange with white lacing. Smells and tastes semi-sweet, hoppy, and doughy. Average on the palate. Okay.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Drjohnrock (288) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 4, 2013
Draft at Neon’s on August 3, 2012. The tap handle had a paper with "Scrimshaw Pilsner Style Ale" taped over it. Pilsner style ale???? Whatever, dude. I can only find this entry when searching the database so I guess this is it. Medium gold/bronze hue, very small head, muted sweet aroma, somewhat sweet flavor with firm malt backbone. Not much like any other pilsner I can recall but different, kind of interesting.

pours gold with white foamy head. aroma is typical for a pilsener - grain and light grassy hops. taste is wheat, mild hops, and pale malts, with a hint of fruit - maybe apple or pear. very drinkable.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Archibaldo de la Cruz (1061) - FINLAND - DEC 20, 2012
Bottle. Golden color with a small white head. Hoppy aroma with notes of grass, citrus and malt. Flavor is citrus, grass, pale malts and a hint of caramel. Quite dry finish. Decent.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 solidfunk (1783) - Ontario, CANADA - DEC 18, 2012
Pretty damn good if this is supposed to be a pilsner. Tastes more liek a pale ale to me. Goes down well with the fried fish and rice with tabasco I’m eating at a bus terminal in San Jose. Lots of hops and some skunk in here. Great for a session beer.
