3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle into a footed pilsner glass.
A: Pours a straw color that isn’t completely opaque. The head features a nice layering of foam, about three fingers high in total. Texture-wise, it’s bubbly and rocky, typical of the style.
S: There are a decent amount of grassy hops here, along with a touch of fruity esters. Nothing remarkable here, yet perfectly acceptable given the style in mind.
T: The first thing I notice on the palate are some hints of fruity esters. Afterwards, it shifts to a mildly hoppy finish. The hops here are grassy, earthy, lemony, and even a bit peppery. There’s a really enjoyable balance to this one, all told.
M: Light on the palate, with sweeping carbonation. I’d reckon it could be a touch drier; then again, I like my pilsners bone-dry. Easy to drink as it should be.
O: Solid. There are few other pilsners I’d go for over this one, but I’d pick this over many others, too.

This is a very solid pilsner. It’s not a beer you seek out, and Lagunitas Pils is more fun, but it’s way more drinkable than your standard adjunct pilsner.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On draft poured into pint glass. Wasn’t much of a head. A little malty and hoppy aroma to it. Tasted really fresh for a pilsner. Would drink again, a go to pilsner.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear golden with a big, fluffy white head. The aroma has a bit of doughy pils malt, with some Munich malt in there too. There is just a faint hint of hops. Nice slightly toasted malt notes with some chewy sweetness, and ends with a crisp finish. Pretty good.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Typical translucent golden yellow pilsener appearance, although perhaps slightly more golden. Meager aroma consisting of malt, yeast, but a little bit of cereal and honey to make it interesting. Pleasantly surprised as it’s relatively complex for a pils. Medium body, initially honey and cereal, but finishes slightly bitter and grassy. Good.

"you can taste the hops a little more than other pilsners which sets this one apart a little. Hallertaus. Pours the usual unassuming yellow. More aromatic and flavorful than others as well, but not as clean and crisp. pretty good, overall."

Delícia de Pilsen. Aroma de frutas frescas, sabor leve e maltado. Aparência levemente turva com ótimo corpo e espuma. Deliciosa.

Pretty good pilsner. Not one of my favorite styles, but if you’ve got a Bud drinker with you then go for it.

I could drink this all day. Both malts and hops are very subtle and clean, but interesting as they unfold.
