3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 undsioux7 (764) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - FEB 3, 2012Tap. Pours a deep golden with a small off white head. Aroma of grain, caramel and floral and spicy hops. Taste is pretty much the same. Not as crisp with a bit too much caramel, but nice anyway.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ThisWangsChung (493) - Leonardtown, Maryland, USA - MAY 24, 2013
12 oz bottle into a footed pilsner glass.
A: Pours a straw color that isn’t completely opaque. The head features a nice layering of foam, about three fingers high in total. Texture-wise, it’s bubbly and rocky, typical of the style.
S: There are a decent amount of grassy hops here, along with a touch of fruity esters. Nothing remarkable here, yet perfectly acceptable given the style in mind.
T: The first thing I notice on the palate are some hints of fruity esters. Afterwards, it shifts to a mildly hoppy finish. The hops here are grassy, earthy, lemony, and even a bit peppery. There’s a really enjoyable balance to this one, all told.
M: Light on the palate, with sweeping carbonation. I’d reckon it could be a touch drier; then again, I like my pilsners bone-dry. Easy to drink as it should be.
O: Solid. There are few other pilsners I’d go for over this one, but I’d pick this over many others, too.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 dlbeer (384) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Bottle. Yellow pour with a decent amount of head and a good amount of lacing for a pilsner. Smells of yeast and slight hops. Tastes of the same with a very slight bready finish. Good for a pilsner.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Brain_Parasite (39) - California, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Pours a light gold with a small white head. Aroma is sort of floral with some bready notes. A light body: flavors of honey, bread, fruits, and spices. This is the best Pilsener I’ve had, though that’s not saying much. Good for summertime cookouts and for those times where you want something a little more mellow.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 monk191 (375) - California, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Not bad for a pilsner, but pretty boring nonetheless. Pours a nice slightly cloudy orange with a white head. Not much of any smell. Taste is similar, refreshing, but bland. Had in the bottle.

On tap @ Three Penny Taproom. Clear golden with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma of grains, noble hops and hints of sweetness. Taste is slightly sweet with grains and spicy hops. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. Clean. Drinkable and refreshing, but could be crispier.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 EtTuCthulhu (399) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - APR 18, 2013
The aroma smells like dough yeast and bread malts, and the appearance is a slightly hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. The taste is mildly sour and a touch sweet, which isn’t that appealing, and the palate combines an average carbonation, medium body, slick texture, and a long sour finish.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 beertholomeus (76) - California, USA - APR 13, 2013
UPDATED: APR 14, 2013 Pours a pale yellow color with thick two finger head. Smell is of cloves, some hops and some malts. Smooth light citrus and hop taste with clean dry finish. Great for a hot day.

Not a bad pilsner. It’s got some good hops and malt. Good with a slice of pizza.

355ml bottle from The Beer Cellar. It has some good colour for a pilsener and is not thin and pale looking like any pilseners. Also has a lot more flavour and body than a lot of pilseners I have ad. I am slowly warming to this style.
