Draft @ Brickstore. Pours a clear dark orange with little white head. Nose is very boozy with light fruits, floral, honey sweet. Taste is white wine/ light feremented fruits, sweet, tripel-like, fruity, a bit of booze, vanilla. Palate is silky/creamy almost. Nice brew and the barrel certainly adds to the brew and mouthfeel.

This beer pours a bright golden color with a medium light beige head that recedes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Notes of oak, grainy malt and spices. Full-bodied with flavors of oak, honey, spices and vanilla. The finish is oaky and vinous. Pretty good

Bottle - Fruity and sweet, apple and rhubarb. Golden with a thin head. Nice and fruity without any bitterness and a little sour. Nice and rich on the tongue with just enough alcohol. Great strong ale.

(3/2012) bottle, as north coast gran cru. Interesting belgian style golden strong ale. Overripe fruit, candi on the nose. Some sake like characters. Full and smooth.

2013.05.06 - North Coast Grand Cru - 500ml bottle in goblet glass. Aroma: a bit of fruit, like apple or presumably the agave, a bit grainy like wheat or a saison. Appearance: Pours around 10 or 11 on SRM scale. Not a lot of carbonation or head but it’s a bit old, and ther is still a decent small amount. Taste: Very nice. Starts off a bit like a saison like Weyerbacher Seventeen, even some hint of pepper... Fades to tasty fruits with no citrus or tang. Nice dry-ish ending. Palate/Mouthfeel: mostly light but a bit sugary or creamy. Aroma 7/10, Appearance 4/5, Taste 8/10, Palate 4/5, Overall 17/20

Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma has honey and apples. Flavor follows suit...very cidery...adds a touch of earthy/grassy notes. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is appley/champagney and warming...very tasty.

Bottle. Clear light brown with a small white head. This was quite a special one. Sweet with dried fruit, toffee, malt and some alcohol. Not a bad beer but on the heavy side.

Mycket speciell. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
