dpjuart (572), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 29, 2008 Draft sample at brewpub. Pours brown with orange hues, white rimming head. Nose is surprisingly coffee and roasted malt. Taste is coffee, malt, and a mild bitter. Almost a porter with too much caramel taste to it. Bitterness is solid enough, but a bit, well, mild for a mild. Tasty concoction. Naka (426), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 27, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Pours a reddish copper brown with a small off-white fizzy head that’s gone after a few seconds. Aroma has some grainyness and coffee. Flavor has a little bit of carbonic bitter. The coffee is very noticeable. A light taste and body make it a pretty solid mild. This might be pretty good on some nitro. kassner (182), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2008 Grapes, and Some faint buttery notes but not alot., carbonation a little too high, but a nice clean finish. Mis identified on sampler but what a great bar kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/23/2007

MrBunn (892), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 14, 2007 Draught. I can see why this is called a mild, but the coffee like aromas and such took me by surprise. Arrives a deep brown color (like walnut) that has a thin appearance to it. Aromas are of coffee and topsoil. Really light ABV (3.8% if I recall), and flavor is similarly mild, in spite of the dark, stouty flavors. I don’t know that I’d sell the house for another, but it is interesting.
