Draft. Body is kind of amber with a sweet aroma and a little bit of hops in the flavor. Pretty bland and hard to separate from the ESB.

Draft sample at brewpub. Pours red with orange hues and a small, eg shell head. Big malty nose, caramel. Taste is a smooth caramel with mild chocolate undertones and a nice crisp finish. A bit watery. Tasty.

Creamy head with a slight staw aroma. Color of darker cream soda or lighter root beer. Initial palate is pretty flat. Earthy flavors with some hints of fruit or flowery taste. Finish is mild building bitterness, but justbarely.

Buckwheat honey and flowers, malty nose with smooth fruitiness and mild hops aroma. Dark amber maple syrup clear with thin head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with honey maple sweetness, light acidity and mild hops. Bit of smoky character to it, too. Malty throughout with nice sweet-hop balance. After is mild sweet and nutty. Not bitter at all. A decent Scottish ale.
