APPEARANCE - expected for a pils. Nice light foamy head with good lacing. NOSE - light yeastiness. FLAVOR - not what i expected for a Pils. Not a crisp flavor, that Iíd like to see in a Pils. Overall, not very flavorful beer.

shigadeyo (3075) - Harrison, Ohio, USA - DEC 3, 2014
Cloudy golden color, white head. Dull, dusty aroma with a tinge of malt. Flavor is sweet like sweet corn, but more malty, slightly herbal/grassy finish. Smooth and overly creamy. Lacks crispness and any hop - Noble or overwise - bite. This is a pretty "dirty" Pils. Lots of yeast and doughines; doesnít seem like a true Pils made properly.

Can. Pours a clear yellow gold boy with a really large head and overly active carbonation. It looks a bit concerning for a Pils, there just shouldnít be this much head. The nose is pretty nondescript, just a little bready pal malt and a minimal hint of hops. The flavor isnít especially clean or crisp, the malt falls a bit flat with a little husky graininess and the hops lack the crisp snappiness that I want from a nice Pils. Minimal hop flavor and bitterness overall. A slight off note on the finish thatís a little off-putting. Light bodied with a little clinginess and soft gentle carbonation. Meh, in a style thatís one of my favorites, in a really crowded field of amazing Pennsylvania Pilsners, this one wonít be one Iíll purchase again.

12 oz can. Clear orange-gold with very little head. Mild aroma with a touch of grain. Mild flavour could use a touch more pilsner malt flavour, but the hopping is nice. Not quite dry enough. Straightforward. No fatal flaws.

Pours clear gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is grass, citrus and some floral. Taste is bittersweet, very crisp and effervescent mouth feel. Light bodied. Finish is clean.

This one poured a pale yellow with a white head. Aroma was of corn and butter. Flavor the same, diacytle and bland malt

Golden colored body with a thin white head and spotty lacing. Grassy and light citric hop notes, some slightly sweet grainy cereals and a touch of bready yeast. Light bodied with moderate carbonation that could have been more assertive. A tad sweet and lacking a crisp bite of bitterness in the finish.

Draft at Whole Foods PM. Gold pour with white head. Hopcitrus, some grains, and lemongrass in the nose. Tasted of bready, grainy pale malt, hopcitrus, with a crisp finish. Decent.

Entirely too sweet fir a pilsner and not as crisp as Iíd like. Faint hops presence. Little fruity, banana perhaps.
