Sweet on the nose, more so than most ambers. Lots of caramel, toffee, and some fruity notes from the hops. Pours amber with little head. The flavor starts rather sweet, lots of malty caramel, this is followed by toasted malts, and more sweetness. As soon as you think this is interestingly too sweet for the style a nice bitter alpha bite comes through and lingers for a while. Interesting and tasty IMO.

Purt near red, transparent, thin white head, strong floral hop & caramel aropmas. I’m not a red fan but this keeps the malt clean and the hops well-represemted.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2008 Aroma of toasted malts and perfume hops. Taste is sweet, watermelon, good hops kick in mid. Smooth texture, awesome dry finish. Very pleasant to drink and very underrated. I really like this brewery, they have some unique and tasty brews.

Red amber colour with a white minimal head, Aroma is light hops and some caramel malts, light fruit. A little hoppy and unbalanced with not enough malt body. Bitter finish.

Draft at the brewery
Clear red and bright orange color. Strange sour flavor of tea, chalky and stale asparagus, with some limes too. Very odd. Sour orange, with a foul husky grain flavor. Not good at all I must say. Smells grainy like Corona, or perhaps even like tequila.

Reddish - Amber color. Hops and fruit, mostly cherries in the aroma. Fruity, cherry like flavors with a good hit of hops. Well balanced and easy to drink.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2006 Cloudy dull amber colour. Very floral aroma with plenty of woodiness. Fairly toasty maltiness, but with lively fruit notes and lots of American hops as well. A fun, flavourful and most importantly well-structured amber. Re-rate confirms this.
