This beer is everything, all the time. It is boozy, hoppy, roasty, rich and dry. The combination of American hops and dark malts provide the drinker with a flavor that is unique and unlike anything else. With its assertive flavor, it is a great beer to round out your night.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft sample at NHB. Poured clear black color with an average fizzy tan head that lasted and produced excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted dark malt and earthy hop aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy toasted bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a very good beer.

Draft at brewery. Black pour, medium bodied. Best beer I had here. Nice roast, piney bitterness. More hops than roast. Very nice

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at The Daily Growler. Brownish-black pour with a medium tan head that dissipates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, roasted malt and a bit of citrus. The finish is malty up front with a piney hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
