Bottle. Hazy gold stuff with a small head and kind of an apple juice (guess I can buy cherry though) nose. Flavor is light wheat beer with a pretty heavy fruit presence.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a cloudy golden with light head. Smells like a sour ale with more body. Light palate with dry finish. Drinkable but not very enjoyable.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours clear golden with an off-white head. The aroma has light cherry, smooth wheat, lightly toasted maltiness and light spice. It has a medium smooth body with good amount of carbonation. The flavor starts with a medicinal / astringent taste that seems to happen with some fruit beers. The there is a mild toasted malt taste, hints of caramel and phenolic spice. The finish has a bit of a cough syrup taste. This one didnít do much for me.

On sale at Andersonís market. Love the bottle shape. Pretty rosy copper color with a creamy head that leaves decent lacing. Floral, wheaty scent. Couldnít really taste the cherry. A little bland too.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a mildly cloudy off yellow. Small white head. Didnít get much aroma. Taste is typical wheat, with a touch of bitterness that is probably the cherry, but not really identifiable. Not terrible, but not one of the better wheatís that Iíve had.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Picked a bottle up while on vacation in northern Michigan. A very enjoyable wheat. There is a very slight hint of cherry. I was expecting more, hence a little disappointment. Still, pretty good.

8/08/2011: North Peak Archangel Summer Wheat (made with Michigan cherry juice)... Aroma: Cherry almond; toasty wheat malt; slightly floral. Appearance: Coppery gold color with a frothy off-white head; there is a slight chill haze to the complextion; bubbly crown remains. Flavor: Yeasty apple with some cherry tartness; musty wheat malt; cherry is definitely there, but is nicely reserved and therefore doesnít dominate. Palate: Medium-light to medium body; lightly bubbly. Overall: Well-balanced and refreshing; this beer actually comes across tasting like a wheat beer with some cherry flavor, not like an cherry cough-syrup bomb like the Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat).
11.5 fl. oz. bottle (MAY 1211) from The Andersons General Store in Toledo, Ohio. Rating #53 for this beer.
