COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A solid American wheat, with a classic nose that transitions to a faint cherry aroma complimenting its rich amber gold hue. As this well-balanced and deceptively light-bodied wheat beer travels across the tongue, the willamette and perle hops hint at bitterness, followed by a crisp, clean wheat flavor that cuts to a subtle tart cherry finish. Asked to describe the flavor of Archangel, the most accurate response is: "it tastes like more.”

bottle. Strange coppery color with small head. Wheat ale with a bit of a strange flavor that I guess is the cherries. I certainly wouldn’t have guessed it to be cherries. Not bad, but not really my thing.

Poured from 12oz bottle at home. Orange and cloudy pour. White bubbly head. Fruity aroma. Taste of banana pineapple hops and slightly bitter. Good

Bottle. Heavy hay aroma. Clear light gold color. Not a great feel in mouth. Pretty astringent. Not a fan.

Nice cherry wheat with a sweet dry finish. Great backyard beer for hot summer days.

Bottle to pint. Looks thin and transparent for a craft wheat beer. Smells decent; cherry and wheat. Tastes a little over the top on the cherry. Mouthfeel is average (at best). Not my thing.

Pours mid amber with fruit notes that drive into a smooth sweet fruit palate and finish.

Finally a cherry wheat that gives a true representation of tart cherry. Slight hint of sweet but true cherry finish, easy on the wheat with an ever so slight rose’ haze.

Aroma: Ripe fruit--berries--with hints of wet leaves. Appearance: Cloudy dark gold with a thick white head that dissipates quickly but leaves lots of lacing. Taste: Immediate bitterness that quickly turns sweet and then sharp and sour. I’m sure this was purposeful and well intentioned, but it’s a bit too harsh and bitter for my tastes. Palate: Light body, crisp texture, fizzy carbonation, long, tart finish. Overall: I think this is an attempt at a Berliner Weisse with syrup added, and at that it works. But it’s too sharp and bitter for me, and while I appreciate the goal, the product just falls flat.
