2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
There is nearly no nose in this I.P.A.; often my favorite part of an IPA. The Bitterness is above average, but it is just not as enjoyable without a hoppy Aroma. Did I get a bad batch? Mainstream Sierra Nevada Rocks this beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
11.5oz bottle-pours a big off white head that laces and amber color. Aroma is pine/biting citrus rind, some medium malt. Taste is pine/biting citrus rind/herbal hops, some medium malt. Drying. Better as it went from cold to cellar temperature.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I shared this with my beer bud MereLikesBeer. We had this right after a really hoppy IPA from Sierra Nevada, but I still wasn’t super impressed with this stuff. I would say it was better than the average IPA, but nothing I would write home about. Cheers!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This poured a hazy yellow color with a white head. Aroma was mild bittering hops and some citrus notes. Flavor was light hops, lightly sweey malts and not much else. Pretty average.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
short 12 oz bottle, Pours a murky brown with a fluff off white head... Aroma is malty and fruity like green apples..Flavor is more malty than hoppy but leaves a long lasting bitter bite that you would expect form an American IPA

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Excellent looking brew. Viper with a lasting head. A nicely spicy aroma. Spicy flavor as well, hints of citrus peal. Dry, dry mouth feel. Good and interesting, though in some way straight forward.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden-orange w/ slight chill haze. Grapefruity big hops aroma. Yellow-tinted, big, foamy head w/ plenty of lacing and retention. BITTER. medium-bodied w/ fizzy but substantial mouthfeel. Dry finish w/ some hops linger. Decent IPA.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
11.2 ounce bottle. An average IPA. Nice balance of hops and malt, but hops didn’t stand out in either the initial drink, or the aftertaste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Cloudy medium orange body, thick dissipating creamy, clumping buff head. Citrusy nose with some pine and toasty malts. Bouquet-like body with perfumey hops, sweet, floral, and bitter, backed by toasty malts. Bitter, somewhat faded finish. There is a lot to like here, as the various hops elements avoid citrus overkill, and there is no syrupy malt heft to weigh down the sip. I’ll be trying the other bottles from North Peak.
