Pours a cloudy amber color with a pillowy off-white head and good lacing. Big grapefruit aroma with a good malty backbone. Unfortunately, the flavor is not as balanced. The malt character comes through as it warms, but it is really hidden by the huge grapefruit and pine hops. Nice body and carbonation. Long citrus rind finish. Overall, I like it, but would love a bit more malt balance on the flavor.

Bottle poured into tulip. Appearance is a hazy golden-orange with a huge light tan head. Aroma is lots of citrus, especially grapefruit. Taste is an interesting balance of malt and citrus hops. There is a bit of a strange, piney aftertaste. Nice smooth feel. Overall, a solid IPA, though not quite on par with the best.

Found this rating from 5/27/12 on a slip of paper in some pants I obviously haven’t worn in a while. Pours darker than expected for IPA with a decent head. Excellent aroma with an effervescent mouthfeel. The strong smell was a bit of a red herring, as the taste did not match the beer’s pungency. A thoroughly enjoyable beer. Draft. Orange and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Solid IPA.

Some citrus notes. Nice light auburn hue. Very standard IPA taste to it. Overall a very average, yet good IPA.

12 oz bottle, Whole Foods Columbus. Hazy orange; 2 finger white rocky head shrinks to a strong ring all the way down; medium lacing. Aroma floral, grassy pine, not much clear citrus. Flavor bready but too sharply bitter for this "size" of beer. Bordering on thin but medium frothy, bubbly but not silky. Definitely solid but not particularly to my preference.

This poured a golden amber color, not much head and a touch of lacing. Heavy sediment in the bottle I had. Aroma is pretty typical of and IPA with citrus and hops. Solid hop flavor with some bitter aftertaste.

Pours a medium amber-orange color with a nice head that lingers a bit. Aroma is citrus, floral, and piney hops with a hint of malt. Taste has a huge bitterness throughout that seems to overpower the taste a bit. It still has a nice citrus and floral taste with a nice malt backbone. This is a good IPA but just a bit too bitter I think.
