COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The devil made us do it. From the ABV and IBU figures to the fiendish use of Cascade, Perle and Willamette hops, Lucifer was whispering in our ears the entire time. Citrus and pine scents greet you and are followed by the sharp bitterness expected of an IPA. The beer’s true wickedness is revealed in the smooth Pale, Crystal 30 and wheat malts that surreptitiously broaden the beer’s appeal to more than just hopheads.

OK- this is a new brewery. I just stopped out at it and it is on the Old Mission Peninsula. Northern United Brewery. Finally got the real scoop. They own the North Peak Brand and allowed some friends to open the brewpub years ago. Totally separate places. I have been waiting to review the beers because it takes time for breweries to work things out. This beer has come a long way. The aroma was just not there originally but they are now dryhopping it so you can only taste this at the brewery. It will be out in stores soon(says the bartender). Everyone needs to try this now. It really is amazing. Big Floral on the nose - now it really smells and tastes like an American IPA. Well done. Now my new favorite.

A great big hop punch offset with a slight malty sweetness produces a perfect go-to IPA. Carbonation produces a thick grassy head of hoppiness that is added bonus of pouring a pint of one of these bad boys.

Bottle. Aroma has wonderful notes of floral and grapefruit. Bright orange amber hue was unexpected. It had a nice sized off-white head that left good lace. Full mouth feel, medium body. Flavor is slight hint of sweet and medium/heavy bitterness on the finish. Overall a very refreshing and extremely solid IPA.

Clean and easy to drink for a full flavored beer. In a taste test with 5 other IPAs this was the winner.

Hazy orange color with a beige head. Aroma of pine and citrus hops. Taste is very bitter and hoppy, also dry and tangy. Very good and unusual.

Bottle from giant eagle. Light foam head and good amber color. Great hop burst and tasty citrus undertones. Well balanced and mildly dry. A great ipa. 6.66% and 66.6 ibu's. ---Rated via my mouth

On draft at jolly pumpkin. Full flavored, even hop presence, poured nice amber color, great lasting head. Delicious!

Pours a rusty amber, large off white head, significan lacing. Strong aromatics of malt and citrus. Quite bitter, a wonderful IPA and a new addition to my stable of favorites!

pours a golden amber color, not too much head. aroma is a citrusy and floraly. good amount of hop flavor. not the best IPA, but a good everyday IPA.

Pour from an 11.5 oz stubby bottle. Cloudy orange amber brew with three fingers of persistent head, siettling down to a frothy film as the glass is sipped. Interesting and complex aroma that seems to be a blend of resin hops, grassy hops, and a caramel maltiness. Flavor is similarly somples iwth a decent malt backbone and resin, citrus, and grassy hops playing in and out as the swallow goes down. Ends with a long but delicious lingering bitterness. Most excellent.
