The black IPA is a wonderful winter beer. Its hoppy character is sure to warm you up on a chilly Michigan winter night. Made with Chinook, Columbus and Cascade hops and Pilsner, C-40, Midnight Wheat and Carapils malts.

This really good looking black beer pour with a thick cream of wheat colored head. It looks like a stout put has that very floral aroma. Blending of hop flavors and coffee stout notes makes this an amazing creation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark brown with a good sized rocky light tan head. The aroma has some roast. coffee, chocolate and bits of grapefruit. It has a medium body with quite a bit of carbonation. The flavor starts off with smooth cocoa, cream, earthy hops and some spice. The finish has more hops presence with earthy, pine and citrus along with the mild stout character. Good beer.
