COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
North Peak Hoodoo Midwest Wet Hop IPA is the first of it’s kind. Brewed with fresh from the farm Michigan hops for exceptional flavor. Hoodoo is hops from start to finish with a little malt in the middle, just enough to keep Hoodoo from going Voodoo on you. not to worry - pretty much nothing but hops.

This boss IPA poured a clear golden and immediately was very strong, floral hops. It tasted rich and citrusy, strong but not bitter overload. Overall this is one of the best strong IPAs I’ve had in awhile. I will be drinking this more, would like to find it on tap!

This beer really surprised me. It tastes almost like Hopslam. Super hoppy but enough sweetness to smooth it out. A great DIPA. I would love to have this again.

Very hazy dark amber beer. Big off white head. The head tastes of dark toffee and citrus and pine hops. Palate is softish and semi dry. Creamy malt, still with the dark toffee. Seamlessly integrated with pleasant citrus pine hops. Trace of red berry fruits. Trace of aniseed. Soft finish. Very drinkable.

Thin offwhite head with decent retention and lace. Lil hazy ambe/copper color. Nice, fresh, danky nose with piny juicy hoppyness. med/full bodied, oily, lil resiny. Dry malts, piney resiny hops, grapefruit and earthy hoppy godness. Dry, lasting finish, fruity and dank, earthy, musty goodness. fresh and juicy. A pleasent surprise. Picked up a sixer in OhiO. Pulled a rabbit outta my ass with this one. Nice.200

Pours opaque golden honey color, large off white head. Nose of great wet hop, grapefruit and chronic. Nice full bodied ipa, lots of sweet hop flavors, hints of honey malt. Really great example of a wet hopped beer, delicious.

I love this beer. Wet hops have very ripe flavor and aroma. Very hard to find. Wish they had more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle, bottled 10/23/12. A wet-hopped double IPA? Sounds awesome. Mostly hazy red-orange color. Big foamy dense off-white head. Good lace. Looks great. Hoppy nose. Super dank, resiny aroma. Piney, big bitter taste. Very light caramel malts. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Bigger body, not sticky or syrupy. More of a clean, dry finish, but with a big resiny hop aftertaste. Yeah, I went through these 12 fluid ounces way too quickly. Definitely going to pick up a couple more of these, if I can. This stuff is great.

Bottle. So the beer pours a fairly dark amber color and sports a pretty large head of tan suds that sticks around for a while. Aromas are thick with hops. Like that non-description hops smell you get from raw hops when you’re brewing. I have a hard time telling them apart at that stage of the game. There is a bit of a resin edge to the nose, and this really becomes pronounced on the palate. The beer is caramel based (increasingly so as it warms and airs) from the malt perspective and resin and pine based as far as hops are concerned. This one is a winner and reminds me quite a bit of northern Michigan hikes through the pine trees.

Overpowering fresh herbal and pine hops! Slightly cloudy golden color, with average head. Minimum malt balance as promised. Alcohol didn’t intrude. Best North Peak brew that I have tried.
