4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This boss IPA poured a clear golden and immediately was very strong, floral hops. It tasted rich and citrusy, strong but not bitter overload. Overall this is one of the best strong IPAs Iíve had in awhile. I will be drinking this more, would like to find it on tap!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured clear light copper color with an average to large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bitter hop flavor with a medium to heavy bitter finish of moderate to long duration. This is a good beer that exceeded my expectations.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: thanks, Mike! Copper penny body with nice clarity & a thin bubbled, beige layer of cream on top. Aroma is pretty citric with a mild white pepper-y, herbal leafy essence underneath. Grapefruit & light lemon. Taste has some pungent, juicy grapefruit notes with some pine, hop oil, mild dankness & bitter leaves. Some malty sweetness underneath, but balanced well with a stingy bitterness that leads to a seemingly dry finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
a nice brew - i was hesitant to purchase, due to the high price tag and at $16.99 for the sixer i probably wonít buy another. but it opens up with a strong hops presence and a bit of alcohol heat. this is definitely high-octane with hops bitterness (piney and green) and a nice pale malt background. smooth and well-executed, and an enjoyable beverage with a cute "michigan" angle.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Doesnít look any better than an average lager, but HooDoo does pack a pretty decent hop punch. Nicely executed, but a little too one-dimensional for me. Serving: 12oz bottle

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle from Dutchís. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have a nice resiny, mild citrus and earthy hop character, some toasted malt, very light caramel. The bottle says 8% while this lists 9%, either way it is easy to drink and I donít get much alcohol. I sometimes overlook these, but many are pretty tasty solid beers.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A bonus from a recent trade. Pours a dark orange color with a white head. Aroma is stinky fresh hop and a bit of citrus. Flavor is medium bodied and much like the aroma. Finish is a touch pine bitter now. Decent drink with good balance and nice hops.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/1/2013. Pours moderately hazy orange amber color with a 1-2 finger dense cream colored head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange zest, grapefruit, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity of hop notes with a moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big tangerine, pineapple, orange zest, lemon zest, grapefruit, pine resin, orange rind, floral, grass, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Large amount of earthy pine resin bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest/rind, pineapple, pine resin, floral, grass, bread, and light caramel on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity and balance of citrus/pine hop flavors; with a moderate malt balance and minimal cloying bitterness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy and very sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice wet hop IPA. All around good complexity and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to snifter. This yearís batch is listed as 8% on the bottle. Looks good; a transparent orange with foamy off-white head. Smells solid; a somewhat bitter hop profile with a pale malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with a nice, smoo mouthfeel. Enjoyable.
