Pours a dark amber color with an off-white head. Sweet, malty aroma with not much else. Flavor is the same with some metal flavor and some soapiness. Gross

Amber pour with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and malty. Thin-bodied and a little bit chewy. Blandly sweet and a little bit herbal and chewy. There is a touch of rancid character that I canít say Iím a fan of. Meh

Active clear amber with a medium off-white head that fades quickly leaving a sheet of lace. Aroma is grainy with an aura of artificial sweetness, malt and dough. Taste is mostly malty with some apple and mild hops. Gritty mouth feel with a minor bitter finish. Not very good.

12 ounce bottle shared by MaltDawg at the 12th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering on 9/18/10. Pours a clear amber color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet malts and some caramel. The taste is bitter hops, fruity notes and a bitter finish. Medium bodied. Boring.

Bottle: The aroma consists of citrus, fruit, bread, and brett. I donít believe that brett has been added to this beer, but the aroma definitely shows signs of it. It pours a mostly transparent amber with lots of sediment and a half inch off-white head that fades to a soapy film within thirty seconds or so. The flavor starts lightly fruity before fading to a lightly floral and brett finish. I donít know if I have a "bad" bottle or what, but this doesnít come across as an amber ale and all. It somewhat reminds me of lighter version Lelanau Petoskey Pale. Iíll definitely have to pick up another bottle of this soon for a re-rate.

From MaltDawg @ 12th Richmond Gathering. Poured a dark yellow. The aroma is just like that of a typical sour ale, which is not a good sign if this is supposed to be an íamber.í Taste is quite heavy on bready malts that have gone bad. There is a weird sourness to this beer. Definitely an infected batch, I would hope. Very skunky.

From MaltDawg @ 12th Richmond Gathering: Aroma of dried leaves and new plastic funk. Clear amber, thick white lacy head. Chlorophenols on the palate. Infected.

Really enjoyed this beer. Had a nice nutty malty taste with a little sweetness and very little hop presence, also had a nice aroma, no head.
