1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Draft at the hotel bar at RBSG. Somehow chose this over Founders Pale Ale, 2-Hearted, or Oberon. A mistake I shall rue to the end of my days. Pours clear amber, thin skim of foam. Head isnít persistent, and there isnít much here in the way of lacing either. Nose is spicy, with basic earthy hops, and a horrible metallic character. Flavours are muted hops, sweet caramel malt, and hot molten metal, God it sears the tastebuds with awfulness.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours an amber color (pretty clear) with a medium sized white head and bland aromas of caramel grains and metal. Flavor is off... something isnít quite right and it tastes a lot like an amber that has a bit of an infection or is too old. Metal and bandaids with some sausage or something over an amber ale malt presence makes this pretty mediocre to bad.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Poured clear dark amber color with a large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate tart citrus hop aroma. Medium body and a smooth texture with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Aroma is has a nice robust malt aroma with a somewhat burn scent to it. Old fashioned hard candy, grain, really dough with some twangy hops poking through on the back end. Appearance is a very clear amber color with a medium sized off white head that diminishes quickly. Taste is Cereal malt characteristic, lightly coffee tasting, with hints of nuts and caramel. Some bitter hops in there as well. More of a German Lager type hops to the taste like Saaz in my honest opinion. Palate is nicely carbonated, slightly heavy on the tongue with a lingering aftertaste of a light burnt malt characteristic and more prominent hops. Overall, Really decent brew. Itís good cool or warm. Cheers!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This poured a bright amber color with an off white head. Aroma was pale and toasted malts, with light bittering hops too. Flavor was nicely balanced, not really hoppy, but not overly sweet either. A decent session beer but a bit bland.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is a pretty good amber ale. Pours clear, medium amber with a rich white head. Aromas of sharp hops well balanced by medium to light maltiness, and a bit of red ale musk. Taste is crisp and well-balanced, faintly sweet and somewhat bitter. Mouthfeel is a bit dry and, at the same time, a bit sticky. Good marriage of sessionability and interest.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma is metallic malt, a little grain. Kind of weird. Flavor was unpleasant metallic and bitter. Not great.
