3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark ice tea pour with white head and some moderate lacing. Sediment was visible before even pouring. Aroma of hops, but not what one would expect. Much less of a hop flavor than I would have expected, which means I like more than most IPAs.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2012 My favorite wheat ipa. Sweet with almost a dipa malt character. Pours dark orange and smells of citrus hops and some wet dog. An excellent ipa, with some unique wheat flavor just in the background. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
North peak vicious ipa on tap. Pours apricot copper slightly hazy with a nice head of white bubbles. Nose is shockingly absent. Maybe a faint hint of hops. Body is mildly fizzy. Taste is a nice blend of floral hops on the tip and mellow wheat presence through the middle finishing with good bitters. Very decent beer indeed.

Not usually a fan of wheat but this is drinkable. Could pack a little more punch.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Cloudy, sediment-laden medium orange-brown body, thick puffy buff head. Complex nose of dusty esters, tangy wheat and a variety of herbal and grassy hops. Weird body, sweet, tangy and earthy with citrus and wet grass, overall a flat flavor profile and the hops faded enough to lack punch. Disappointing but I’ll have to sample a fresher specimen sometime.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: golden with a big head. It’s got a ton of citrusy hops in both aroma and flavor, but backed up with a nice solid wheatiness. Interesting, in a good way!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy golden with big notes of citrus and resin. Deep grain on the palate drives into a bitter hopped lingering finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: The aroma is very heavy on oranges mixed with some peach, Belgian yeast, and orange peel. It pours a transparent amber with a two finger orange tinged off-white head that has good retention and leaves behind a good amount of sticky lacing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with orange, peach, and some Belgian yeastiness. The finish has moderate grapefruit, light wheat notes, and pine. It’s medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Overall, it’s fall somewhat in line with the Belgian IPAs.
