Beware of beer. There, we warned you. The frothy head, and pungent, piney dryhopped scent (from Cascade and Amarillo hops) should alert you to the brew’s imminent attack on your senses. Next, Cascade, Perle and Willamette hops will batter your palette with bitter ferocity. Finally, Pale, Crystal (30 and 75) and wheat malts converge in a cloudy, thick body and give you a smooth kiss of sweet death – and leave you howling for more!

Bottle. Pours a coppery color with a huge frothy head and ample lacing. Aroma of pine and fruit. Taste of pine, fruit sweetnes and grain. Solid bitterness and a dry finish. Moderate body, crisp and refreshing. Nice IPA, nothing fancy.

Pour on tap at Jolly Pumpkin, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, grass, some orange peel into a bit of lemon peel, some slight floral notes into more bread. Taste was a mix of bread, dough, some yeast into a bit of grain, nice citrus peel into a bit of lemon, slight floral notes, finishing bitter.

12 ounce bottle. Orange color in pour. Slight fruity taste followed by some citrus. Not a big wheat for sure.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a nice hazy amber with thick off white head. Aroma is strong pine, floral and a little citrus. Overall moderate sweetness with moderate to heavy bitterness. Lot of pine flavor with a little citrus. Some caramel sweetness and grassy notes. Average ipa overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: clear deep orangey gold, two fingers of whitish orangey yellow head shrinking rapidly, with lower than average lacing. Aroma: definite notes of pine and some catty dankness. Taste: hop forward, with pine resin, some citrus, but mainly it’s dank; not much malt. Finish: surprisingly short for an IPA, but slightly harsh as well. Notes: No indication of wheat whatsoever. Also, in their own commercial description they say ’palette’ instead of ’palate’. That immediately results in a .5 penalty. Bottle from Knightly Spirits in Orlando, Florida, on the family Disney trip.

Tap at Null. Clear light amber pour with a small ring of head and great lacing as usual. Very odd, sweet aroma of malt, wheat, pine, and light citrus. Tastes gross. Like sugary pine needles and skunk. Not sure what’s going on here. I’ve had a bottle in the past and remember thinking something went wrong with it so I didn’t rate. I think this is just how the beers is. Not good.

Not bad but it does have a bit of a funky after taste. Jury is still out on the north peaks. All descent but nothing special so far.

I don't know all of the proper terms but I like IPA and I like wheats and the two together does it for me. Plus I like the short fat bottle.

Bottle from Kroger, Grandview. Copper orange pour with thin off-white head. Aroma of resiny citrus, pine, straw, grass. Tastes of sweet bready caramel, pine, citrus. Decent.

Poured a 12 oz bottle into a goblet. Pours a hazy honey color with a small off-white head. Light aroma like orange creamsicle. Flavors are initially sweet and citrusy, with a sweet malty flavor like burnt caramel, but everything is quickly overrun by a very long, strongly bitter finish. The bitterness is bordering on being too sharp and strong for me, and seems like it could be a bit more complex. But overall, this beer is drinkable and fairly nice.
