North Peak Wanderer is a Session IPA. This exciting new style is balanced with malt and hop characters and has a clean finish. The combination of full hop flavor and lower alcohol gives Wanderer a a wonderful drinkability! Wanderer has a light, clean and refreshing body, and is hopped with Perle, Willamette, Centennial and Citra hops that gives Wanderer a Citrus and Pine finish. Wanderer is rounded out with a generous amount of dry-hopping with Citra hops to fill the nose. It is brewed in Traverse City, MI, on Old Mission Peninsula incorporating locally grown hops.

Cloudy copper with a thick, foamy head. The aroma is hoppy, but sweet with elements of tea. Flavor, likewise, has elements of tea and light bitterness. As a huge fan of session IPAs (e.g. Founders, Lagunitas, Stone/Kelsey McNair/Ballast Point) this lacks the upfront hop flavor, and is a bit of a disappointment.

amber, sparkling, cloudy, frothy, minimal head, white foam. bread, cereal, herbs, grass, leaves aromas (I know... it sounds off, but thatís what Iím getting). light sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour.medium body, thin feel, oily feel, average carbonation, bitter finish. I think the idea of a session IPA is always hilarious. Generic, but efficient artwork. Great bottle look.

Orange and grapefruit peel, pine, light caramel and hints of nuts and brown sugar. Dry finish. Thin feel and a slight artificial sweetness hurt an otherwise good brew. Still not too shabby.

Deep orangey bronze, thin layer of off white foam. Rindy citrus aromas and deep caramel notes.Soft touches of pine and phenols in the medicinal range. Spritzy in feel with melon sweetness. Finishes bitter. Backed down in CO2 this might get more English in character. Might be interesting on cask. Still interesting as it is.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods. Orange in color. Light citrus accented by the hop profile. Flavorful and nice for the light abv.

Cloudy, amber, small off-white head. Fairly strong orange-peel aroma. Very bitter orange-peel taste...caramel malt. Quite bitter, but bland otherwise.

12oz bottle shared. Poured about the same color as the other 2. Mild in aroma, mild in flavor. Mild in all respects. Is it drinkable? Yes but itís just kind of bland. There will be people who love it and there ill be people who donít. Itís all good.

Pours clear copper with an off-white head. The aroma has pale malt, floral hops, touch of fruity hops and a bit of caramel. It has a medium / light body that is fairly harsh with lightly abrasive carbonation. The flavor starts dry as a bone with crackers, pine woodiness and spice. The finish has some minerals and sulfur. Decent session IPA.

12 oz bottle at a tasting on January 13. This is a great session IPA! I was happily surprised. The pour is a slightly orange-ish gold with a nice white head that lingers around, falls to a film, and laces gorgeously. The aroma is awesomely hoppy with loads of citrus that I wasnít expecting from something with such a light ABV. The flavor is equally good. Crisp, clean, good hoppiness and citrus flavors. The aftertaste doesnít linger very long at all, but the mouth feel coats nicely, like a decent IPA should
