Slainte (pronounced Slon-cha) is the Irish word for cheers! This creamy, smooth, dark beauty has ample amounts of caramel, roasted and chocolate malts giving it its complex flavorful body. Can you taste Toffee?

Taster @ North Sound Brewing. Notes: Smells great (as a stout should). Nitro. Decent dry stout.

Draft at Balefire. Pours a grainy jet black with a dense and creamy tan disc of mousse that sticks around for quite a while. Nice roasty sweet nose. Creamy medium body. Tons of milk chocolate and baking chocolate up front on the mid-palate, fairly roasty, then gets dark and ashy near the end. Great all-around drinking stout. Very bold and harmonious.

Draft, Copper Hog. Black, pillowy nitro off-white head. Roasty chocolate and caramel aroma. Starts out chocolatey, a touch grainy, caramel, moves to dry roast, ash, and coffee as it finish. Very nice example of the style and perfect with breakfast.
