Nice copper red color but not much of an aroma. Has an agreeable but fading taste. Location/deck is awesome but 90 degree temp may have tainted lasting power.

On tap at Northampton Brewery on 19 April 2010. Good bronzy colour. Slight haze. Thin white head. Another good hoppy number. Quite earthy and tangy this time. Some dry malt. Good interpretation.

On tap at the brewery. First one I had, after an afternoon out in the warm sun, so of course the first beer of the day usually goes down smooth. Good malty upfront with hoppiness on the backside, as advertised. A good session beer indeed.

Part of a sampler at the brewery. This was tasted awhile back so I do not remember specifics. I found all samples tasted to be average, or slightly above average but nothing to rave about.

Copper with retentive head, weak aroma, light crisp hops finish. A nice session beer.

JAF737300 (1291) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 29, 2007
This bitter ale poured light brown with good blended notes of sweet malt and bitter hops. This allowed the palate to share in the same contradictory experience. It finished with the correct amount of bitterness as well.
