Commercial Description:
A slightly rich, not too hoppy version of a classic English style porter. Although very dark in color it is medium bodied with hints of chocolate malt.

Loved the dynamic this porter presented. Quite possibly one of the best I have sampled. Not too heavy, with a hop presence that was just enough.

The porter pours deep brown with a nice head. It shows notes of chocolate and toasted malt on both the nose and the palate. It does drink quite smooth and the finish is nice and long.

On-tap at the brewpub. Black, with lace. Some bitterness, above average carbonation, creamy mouthfeel.

Shared a sampled that had this in it. It had a nice dark brown color and a nice chocolate aroma, but it was watery.

tap at the brewery. Dark brew with a thich light brown head. Light toasty aroma, cherry fruitiness. A little lacking on dark malt flavours. Some toast and light coffee. Low bitterness but a touch of piny/resiny hop flavour. Some nuttiness as it warms. Pretty bland in general though.
