sampled at the brewpub. dark brown-almost black with ruby highlights. Aroma: chocolate caramel light roasty notes. Taste is the same, light to medium body, not bad.

Average, across the board. Poured with little head and dark. Texture is a bit thin, oatmeal is not overwhelming. Good beer with the chili.

Honest light brown ring fades quickly from the deepest brown pour. Honest roastiness in a grainy way can’t hide the tartish component. Competently displayed oatmeal presence gives a floury aspect. Sweetish and weirdly juicy, like pear syrup, mandarin, pineapple, thus feeling quite pale for a stout. Light bodied, fading out initially adequate carbonation.

Black body with creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate and roasty. Taste is medium sweet, roasty, chococoffee/mocha. Medium body. Tasty.
