3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale amber pour. The nose is lightly spicy with a kiss of pumpkin pie spice and a fairly pronounced pumpkin flavour. The flavour shows more ginger than was apparent in the nose and it also shows a soft herbal hoppiness. A bit sweet but the spiciness seems to balance this out nicely. Itís a typical, but pleasant, offering.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Northampton Brewery. Pour is light hazy orange with a thing white head. Aroma is enormous on the spices - nutmeg, cinnamon, honey extract, pumpkin pie. Body is a bit watery with a the spice overwhelming the rest of the flavors. Slightly dry and sour finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the brewpub. Luminous light amber...very light herbal/pumpkin nose..honey-velvety body, lovely herbal/vegetable/pumpkin flavors, more pungent than sweet. Very similar to the fine Smuttynose rendition, possibly the same recipe. Quite dry.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught: This beer pours a dark, golden color. It had a large white head to it, but only minimal lacing. The aroma was a lighter one of pumpkin spices. The taste is slightly tart, with its main components being pumpkin pie spices and a medium malt body. It went down fairly smooth. Not a bad rendition.
