JAF737300 (733), New York, New York, USA Jul 29, 2007 The beer pours somehwat cloudy golden. The fruit shows on the nose and palate quite nicely but the bitterness seems ot peak at the wrong time, driving out the nice fruit flavor. muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Nov 5, 2004 Sample at the brewpub. Very very clear golden, no head. Fresh but weak unripe raspberry aroma, bit acidic. Hints of biscuit in the malty, bready body, sour raspberry tones; too fizzy. boto (1224), Granby, Connecticut, USA Jul 18, 2004 Draught: The beer was a clear golden color. There was no head or lacing associated with it. The aroma was pretty much overwhelmed by the raspberries. Nothing else got through, although the aroma itself was not overwhelming. The taste was raspberries, with a little wheat. This was basically the Weizenheimer with raspberry flavoring.
