Pour on tap at the brewery, dark brownish pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of cocoa powder, roast, hints of nuts into some dark chocolate, caramel, molasses, slight honey, vanilla in there. Taste is a mix of honey, vanilla, some dark cocoa into molasses, dark caramel, hints of dark fruit, nuts, finishing fairly dry.

Pours a chestnut brown. Nice nutty aromas. Flavors are sweet honey, a bit of sour and a boozy finish. This is really good.

Draft at brewpub. Translucent syrupy brown color with thin head, no lacing. Very light aroma. Very sweet honey flavor, plenty of malt backbone, moderate hops. High gravity masked well. A solid strong brown, but not spectacular.. ---Rated whilst imbibing

On tap at brewpub pours a dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is of muted chocolate malt and honey. Taste of chocolate, slight nuts, lots honey, sweet, with some warming alcohol. Not bad, drinkable for 9.8%, but nothing really standing out here as overly amazing.

Tap at the brewpub. Wow, this is awesome. Dark brown pour with a spotty cream/white head. Sweet honey, nut, with a dense smooth creamy palate. Bold and fantastic.
