Poured dark golden with a decent head, floral/tropical scents on the nose, decent tasting with good length, hoppy but not over powering, bit sessionable. bitter aftertaste but not too strong. Solid beer to have over Summer

Tap at Mane Liquor. Pours a bright gold colour with 2cm of head. Citrus fruit and pine hoppiness in the aroma, with a nice malt sweetness. Smells like a well balanced pale ale. Taste is really clean: hoppy, tropical fruits with a malty caramel sweetness. Really refreshing and crisp, well balanced pale lager. think I’ll be taking a growler home.

light amber color. Minerally tropical fruit nose. Light bodied. A touch sweet light bitter finish. Very pleasant and refreshing. It really takes pale lager to the next level.

Delightful delicate beer. Given the label I expected a hoppy beast. Instead we have a nice amber beer with lingering white head that has a pleasent spicy aroma. The flavour is a mix of herbal/vegetable and grapefruit flavours, there is a bit of maltiness on the back palate and the finish is restrained. Memorable for being less rather than more.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 Jamesshaw (15) - - JAN 18, 2013
with the name i thought it was going to be a hop bomb. aka ipa style labelled as a lager. but this was well balanced. great amber colour. restrained hops allowing aroma and flavour to come through, without being hash. bitter and overbearing. perfect summer beer

Bottle. Clear amber with a white head that fades to half an inch. Aroma of grapefruit, passionfruit, biscuit, caramel, some red berries. Light bodied. Tastes as it smells with modest bitterness. For me the malt flavours don’t go all that well with the hop flavours and the cleanness of it makes them jar. Smells good though.

330ml bottle from Slow Beer. A very strong golden amber colour for a pale lager and also has a big frothy head. If only all pale lagers looked this good instead of the thin clear looking beer you normally get. Passionfruit aroma fills the nose and the beer is full and smooth in the mouth with an easy drinking flavour. Perfect beer for this scorching hot day.

I was lucky enough to come across this on tap at the Vue Grande at Queenscliff, and then again a week later in my beerboys 24 pack. It’s got quite a hefty aroma for a lager with loads of hops and a little malt too. It’s less malty in the mouth but still hoppy and tangy, with a slightly watery palate. From a comparison point of view, the hops in the tap version popped a little more, but the palate was also more watery on tap.

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a nice golden with a foamy white head. Nose has floral hops and tropical fruits in there with some biscuit in there. Taste is super clean. Hints of tropical fruits, grapefruit dominant and floral grassy hops. Biscuit comes into play too. Soo easy to drink. Good session beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
