(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 22 July 2011) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with brief white head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, some toast and a hint of diacetyl. Fruity, malty taste with notes of toast, apricots and dusty hops in a fairly dry finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Not very exciting, and possibly not in top form.

Cask at the CPK. Pours clear, yellow gold with a foamy, white head. Mild biscuit, straw nose. Flavor is pretty sweet, good bread and biscuit, slight grass, some mild earth. Light bodied with good, fine carbonation. Some sugar in the finish, hay and straw, slight citric bitters, slight toast. Solid beer.

Cask handpump at The Maypole, Cambridge. Clear, orange-copper appearance. Not much scent to it. Bitter, some carbonation, in the mouth there are spices, oranges and some caramel. Nice.
