presario (2392), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Mar 26, 2008 Sample tray. Woody hop nose entices but does not overpower. Apricot start to flavour. Citrus-apricot finish. Good IPA. Dry and fruity. auderale (466), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA Jan 20, 2008 Draft: Amber colored pour with a strong piney aroma to it. Not a big piney flavored fan, but it finished bitter, slightly sweet. jarspag (503), San Diego, California, USA Nov 15, 2007 On tap at the brewpub in Spokane. Deep orange in appearance - most notable characteristic on this guy is its earthy qualities - especially in the finish. Rather straight forward interpretation of the style and is just your standard brewpub IPA...ya dig? The only beer here I really felt like trying... Bradrcr (554), Renton, Washington, USA Jul 22, 2007 On draught at the brewery. Aroma is earthy, citrus, grassy hops forward with low malt character. Appearance is light copper with a medium white head. Flavor is sweet citrus hops with a malt balance forward followed by earthiness, fruity hops and a wide range of additional hop flavors tough to quantify. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carb texture. Overall, a great super hoppy complexity, even for an IPA. Skyview (2768), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 13, 2007 Fifth stop during the ABA Beer Tour ’07 in Spokane, Washington. Sampled on tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy dark caramel amber brew with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a white ring. Aroma of piney and floral hops with a touch of wood and just barely some multi-grain malt. Taste is bitter with a grassy hop flavor. Light to medium bodied with extra carbonation. Aftertaste is more bitter that lingers after the finish. Overall a light bodied brew with a bitter finish.
