Jul 15, 2004 Draft- Spokane. Golden color with a off white head. Small amount of lace. Light cascade and mild malt aromas. Light pine and toasty malt flavors. Clean finish.

Feb 24, 2004 Dark hazy copper color, nice creamy head and lots of lacing. The aroma has some light citrus notes with lots of nice PNW light hops. The flavor is mild and pleasing, balanced and earhty with some nice citrus presence. Finishes balanced and mild. Good pale! Look out Northern Lights, Sham and I will be there on June 2nd.

Jul 13, 2007 Fifth stop during the ABA Beer Tour 07 in Spokane, Washington. Sampled on tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden amber brew with an average off-white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film. Aroma of piney hops, multi-grain character with a touch of citrus. Taste is light to medium body, lightly carbonated with flavors of citrus, with a touch of butter. Interesting! Finish is a little gritty with a lingering dry hop bitterness.

Aug 28, 2004 Medium amber gold color. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrus and some hops. A medium bodied pale ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are floral and citrusy. Earthy and herbal. Nicely balanced. Milder flavored Pale Ale, Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

May 22, 2007 Draft pint at the brewpub; Golden brozne with a nice firm white pillowtop. Willowly whisp of hop flower in the aroma. Nice pleasant round hop flavors here, mildly spicey. Good well-rounded beer. (#2918, 5/18/2007)

Jul 21, 2008 Thanks to Skyview for sharing! Gold color with a large head. Aroma of carrots and pine. Strong green tea flavor. Fairly bitter. Tastes like a fresh hop Pale Ale.

Mar 26, 2008 Sample tray. Foamy white on gold. Light hop nose. Soft body. Building hop flavour. Soap, medicine then hoppy again. Pairs nicely with spicy food.

Apr 7, 2005 Bottle pours orangish golden, large frothy white, but quickly diminishing head, nice lacing, with minor carbonation. Subtle hop nose, soft but sharp, with a hint of ashtray. Pale grainy flavor up front, followed by quite the butter attack. Diactyl.... blech. Body and mouthfeel are farily average. Finishes with somewhat of a toasted malt flavor, and luckily no butter or ashtray. Their Crystal Bitter still has my vote for best of the bottled stuff. And the beer looked so good... damn.
