At the Davenport Hotel in the Peacock Room on draft, this came a hazy yellow with a nice white head, and light lacing. Nose of banana, and citrus. Light mouthfeel. Flavor is light malts with a touch of wheat. Not much finish. Easy to drink, and OK for a light summer beer.

Summer beer on tap in november could be dangerous but the beer was fine. Straw colour, no real haze, and a slightly citric sour aroma. Flavour was light and hte wheat was hardly present. Not a great offering.

On draught at the brewery. Aroma is grainy, yeasty, slightly sour. Very complex, I could pick out almost all the components of real bread. Still, not the best aroma, as the strength was very low. Appearance is light straw yellow with a low white head. Flavor is a balance of yeast, malt and low bittering forward. Beer is well balanced with a sweet and sour background and additional notes of bread wheat and grain. Mouthfeel is light bodied, thin with a strong carb feel. Slightly spritzy with a low sour finish. Overall, there’s a lot of great complexity but the hef is just too thin. A little less water for sparging or added to the boil and this could be truly excellent, but definitely worth trying now.

Fifth stop during the ABA Beer Tour ’07 in Spokane, Washington. Sampled on tap at the brewpub. Pours a semi-hazy golden blonde brew with a fast dissolving white head. No lacing on glass side. Aroma of wheat and multi-grain malt, some citrus and a touch of grassy hops. Taste is light bodied, lightly carbonated and a dry wheat flavor. Finish is a little watery with a mild sweet hop aftertaste.

Only slightly more haze than mass-produced filtered lager. The wheat flavor is almost indistiguishable. The flavor overall is very mild. When poured, there is hardly any head at all.

Pours a hazy golden hue with a small white head. Aromas of wheat and barley. Overall, nothing special.

Hazy light straw color with a small white head. Dry wheat aroma. Dry malt flavors with a touch of astringency.
