Gravity, Hinckley 2011, 16/09/11. Cool name, great beer. Just when I was losing faith, Northern put this one on the table. Top festival nick; brilliant limey green-gold with a fine, tenacious white foam lacing all the way. Juicy aroma with melon, slight spliff and red apple suggestions. Thick, stewed tea-dunked malts with a thread of rauch; hops actually secondary, but ripe and slightly grassy and pineapple/mango-accented. Great balance, lingering wisp of smoke. Beer of The Festival.

Pale blond with a bright white head. Light, floral hop aroma. Fresh tasting beer with a hint of apple. Dry hops come through in the finish.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Pale gold with a small white head. Slight hoppy aroma with some butter. Taste was full, with citrus, sweet malt and a little elastoplast. Mid bitter finish. Quite liked it.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Great hoppy aroma - fresh and tart. Light, creamy, tasty. A little malty milk on the finish, which I’d prefer not to have. But this is another good product from a company I like.
