Sigmund (1961), Hafrsfjord, Norway Sep 29, 2004 Cask at the Ipswich Beer Festival 2004, gravity dispense. Interesting aroma of barnyard and sheepshed - very befitting, as the Bedlington terrier (the dog, that is!) looks like a newborn lamb. Flavour is dusty malty. Oh, and it’s vegan - no terriers are used as actual ingredients in this beer. chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Sep 27, 2004 Amber coloured, with a slight haze. The aroma was rather unusual for a beer - it had a distinct farmyard edge more reminiscent of a farmhouse cider (which I like). The flavours were more prosaic, with some hoppy bitterness and a touch of malt. Dry finish. Overall, an interesting and more than acceptable best bitter. Cask (gravity dispense), Ipswich Beer Festival.
