Cask (handpump) at the Crescent, Salford. Amber with a slight haze. Thin head. Aroma majors on toffee malt with some treacle. More dry on the palate with plenty of sharp fruit and chewy malt but muted hop presence. Can’t say I enjoyed this too much but, if you like your bitters on the malty side, it may be more to your taste.
