1.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Cask. Pours a clear and warm amber golden with a handsome off-white head. The nose has a litle caramel and a whiff of mould. Thin and watery body, a little caramel but extremely fusty and mildewy notes that pretty much overpowers anything else. One of the most disgusting beers I’ve had for long - probably due to poor handling? 210110

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
@ Cornubia, Bristol. Amber. Almost peanutty aroma. Malty, caramelly character with a light fruitiness. Quite sweet but overall an uninteresting pint.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Sludgy brown with no head. The only amazing thing about this was the price, all pints of R.A in this ’pub’ were 1:29!!. Other than that it was a sludgy mess, really not good at all.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Handpulled cask ale, half, at Malt Shovel Inn. Deep dark brown coloured body. Bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. Caramel malts on the nose, hints of herbal hops. Dark, fruit caramel flavours with dusty hops and a touch of basement. Nice bittersweet malty ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing (Edinburgh, pub crawl with mr_h, 09.08.2013).

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma gives fruity malts and floural hops which im not a big fan of unless the beers about 10%, but not bad. Taste is similar a bit unbalanced towards the malt side of things but not offensive in any way.
