Cask-conditioned at The Bell, Bath, 5/7/08. Amber coloured with no head. Big caramel and earthy hop aromas. Flavour started sweet, with a dusting of chocolate powder and a decent bitter finish. Drinkable.

Gravity cask at Red Lion, Snargate Kent. Quite fruity slightly alcoholic sweetness to go with the fruit and some finishing hop. Bit of apple acidity in there too. Good winter warmer but could do with a bit more malt robustness
