3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bomber pours with a deep gold body that has a copper hue and a slightly hazy body that supports a white head. The aroma offers up resiny smelling pine hops and then just slivers of sweet malts and a floral kind of soap sensation. The taste harkens back to an earlier time with itís biting resiny pine hop bitterness and adequate sweet malty base. Well off in the background is a blend of earthy tea and vague sort of soft hop fruitiness. Fun beer for sure where the resiny hops are big but thereís plenty of depth and body going on here allowing for a semblance of balance.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Slightly hazy copper with a thin, very sticky white head. Lovely aroma of sticky sweet grapefruit and orange rind, a bit of floral resin and a caramelly wafer undertone. Big robust flavor with sweet citrus zest and bitter peel, a touch of pith, sweet caramelly undertones, nice quaffable bitterness, and a strong earthy leafy/herbal resin towards the dryish finish. Aftertastes of resin and bitter grapefruit peel.

Okay. Standard IPA flavors but with strong perfumy, floral notes. The floral notes detracted from the flavors and really lowered the overall taste/aroma.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft - Sweet caramel and orange hops. Clear gold with a decent white head. Sweet but harsh hoppy notes. Big lingering bitterness and pith and resinous flavours. To edgy.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Northwest, pours a hazy golden with a small beige head. Aroma is nearly non-existent, with light spicy hops. Flavour is the same, with abrasive spicy hops, light cosmetic notes and dry crackery malt backing. Very spicy and abrasive. Needs refinement.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy blonde. Tons of bitterness. Light grapefruit, quite woody. Not all that complex, pithy, husky, ok DIPA.

Bottle. After drinking triple IPAs for a couple hours, this seems damn close to water. Fortunately, I had a palate cleanser before this. Pours a clear dark golden color for me. Nose is cleanly floral. Taste is quite bitter, but has a pleasant lightness about it. Actually ends up being fairly crisp for me. Not bad at all.

A double ipa from Washington is crazy. I guess hence the name crazy bitch. I mean, this thing is seriously hoppy. Nice sweet malt up front, but from there its all hops in your face. If hoppy bitch is hoppy, crazy bitch sure is crazy. ..hence the name.

Iíll preface this by stating Iím not a DIPA/IIPA fan but Iím always willing to explore and see if I may find one that changes my mind. To be fair to the beer, I donít feel rating it anything less than 7 on taste would be appropriate considering this isnít one of my fav styles.
However, I do love the smell of a strong-hopped beer and this one didnít disappoint at all! Loved the piney, citrusy aromas that lingered until the last drop. Appearance and mouthfeel were nice as well. Iíd think that if you were a DIPA connoisseur, youíd probably think this was a pretty decent option.
