3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery. Pretty transparent ruddy brown. Warm nuts and overripe fruits on the nose. Flavor follows, adding... wait, mint? Weird. Slight letdown in the flavor.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at SB. This might be the best one they have done. Pours a murky dark brown with a dense and creamy tan head that fades. Big sweet molasses and brown bread nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Bread crusts, brown bread toast, molasses, and soft clovey notes on the mid palate. Long toasty finish. Nice beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear, brown colored body with a bit of an orange hue. Finger-width, creamy and frothy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is nutty caramels with a moderate sweetness and a cinnamon spice. A slight breadiness and hint of earthy hops. Flavor is nutty, somewhat sweet caramels with a nice cinnamon spice. Finishes dry with a medium-light earthy bitterness and a light spicing that is well balanced with a light nutty sweetness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium, smooth body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a solid brown ale with a nice nutty sweetness and a pleasant cinnamon spice. Not bad.
