An American style India Pale Ale. This beer is highly hopped. It is brewed with Munich, Caramel, and Breiss 2 Row Pale Malt that gives this ale a bready, caramel malt character with fruity, citrusy cascade hop flavors. Crisp, bitter finish

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a pine and grass combination with sweet grains backing. Flavor has pine throughout supported by grass and light sweet grains.

Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Pale orange color with a thin white head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light body with flavors of citrus, mild hops and grainy malt. The finish is lightly bitter with a short fruity hops aftertaste Pretty average overall.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear orange pour with thin to no white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, some grass, pine, slight orange, pretty plain without much there. Taste was a mix of grass, biscuit, bread, some slight orange, finishing fairly dry, slightly bitter.

Had it on tap at Northwoods Brewery in Eau Claire Wi. Poured a clear amber hue with even lacing and a medium head. Smelled of hop citrus aroma and the taste did not live up to the aroma, small hop, bad bitter taste.

Aroma is citrus, mild sugar sweetness and a hint of grainy malts. The flavor is citrus, earthy/slightly nutty malts and a mild fruit/tart finish.

12oz bottle. Gusher..not explosive, but massive head that seemed uncharacteristic. Sweet seawater aroma. This brewery lacks any finesse and clearly has all sorts of off flavors. Couple that with cheap ingredients and you truly have a shabby offering. There is some soapy dry bitterness, but the malt undercurrents are sloppy and half-tolerable at best. Never again.

8/11/12. GTMW. Orange pour with a small khaki head that laces alright. Light earthy hops in the aroma with some citrus and touches of caramel and malt. Earthy flavor as well with a bit of hoppiness, citrus, and plenty of caramel and malt on top of a touch of a metallic tinge. Eh.

I let the bottle warm up a bit bit before serving. With a somewhat aggressive pour I got an average, cream colored, thick head that soon settled to a light cover and some lace. Color is a a hazy/cloudy brown amber. Aroma is malt, toffee, hop. Flavor’s about the same, with not a whole lot going on. Body and carbonation are ok. Finish is like flavor and rather short. Pretty tame for an American IPA.
